How to play
- Download the setupPress the Download button above and save the installer.
- Run itIt installs to
D:\Games\xRO3, orC:\Games\xRO3if there is no D: drive. No admin rights needed. It adds an “xRO3” shortcut to your desktop. - Install, then PlayOpen xRO3 from the desktop, press Install, and when it finishes press Play.
Already have RO3 installed? Choose “Use existing client” to download only about 30 MB.

Windows SmartScreen warns about the installer
The beta installer is not code-signed yet, so Windows shows “Windows protected your PC”. Click More info, then Run anyway.
How do I verify or repair my game files?
Open the xRO3 launcher, click the gear icon and choose Verify game files. It checks every file against the current version and re-downloads only what is missing or damaged.
Maps render wrong on an AMD graphics card
Open the xRO3 launcher, click the gear icon to open Settings and turn on AMD graphics fix (DXVK). The launcher downloads the fix and puts it next to the game for you. If the game crashes afterwards, tick Compatibility version (older drivers) or switch the fix off again. Updating your graphics driver also helps.
Where are the logs?
Game logs are in D:\Games\xRO3\Game\Logs, and the launcher log is D:\Games\xRO3\xRO3Launcher.log (use C: instead if you installed there). The launcher can open the logs folder for you from its settings. Attach the newest files when you report a problem.
Will the beta be reset?
Possibly. This is a closed beta: characters and progress may be reset, and the server restarts for maintenance from time to time.
